Maclane’s Automotive Acquires ASM Auto, Expanding Service Footprint in Chester County
Maclane’s Automotive, a growing automotive repair and service company founded by Maclane Reeser and currently operating two locations in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, announced today the acquisition of ASM Auto, a highly regarded independent auto repair shop located in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The transaction further expands Maclane’s Automotive presence in Chester County and strengthens its position as a trusted regional service provider.
ASM Auto was founded and owned by Ausmus Marburger, who built the business into one of the most highly reviewed automotive repair shops in the region. Since opening its doors in 2020, ASM Auto has consistently ranked as one of the top reviewed auto repair shops in the region, earning a reputation for honesty, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service.

The Malvern location will benefit from Maclane’s Automotive operational resources, systems, and multi-location experience, while continuing to deliver the high level of service customers have come to expect.

The transaction was successfully brokered by J&E Business Group, a Pennsylvania-based business brokerage specializing in small to mid-market transactions.
